Key blocks in the building of a system of support
Systems Thinking

The building blocks of a partnership

A term-by-term way of working that helps a school plan support as a system, not a set of separate fixes. We work alongside your team to map impact and agree a small number of high-leverage moves. We then test them in real conditions before pausing on purpose to reflect, learn and iterate. Each block builds capability inside the setting, so improvements keep going between sessions.

How the partnership works

We work in termly blocks, with clear starts and finishes. Each block includes action weeks and built-in breathing space. The pauses matter. They give staff time to notice what changes, collect lived feedback from pupils and staff, and decide what to keep, stop or adjust.

Package Options

Termly Partnership

One full term block following the steps above

1 hour set up meeting, 2 hour planning session, 1 hour training and 1 hour post-training reflection.

Works best with one identified priority area

Year Partnership

Three term blocks across the year with planned breaks between terms

Best for schools that want steady improvement without overload, plus time to learn between cycles

Delivery

Delivery of both partnerships can be on-site if within a 50 mile radius of Bristol, UK. Partnerships can also be established online.

Breaks are part of the design

They protect staff capacity and make learning visible. They also stop the common pattern of initiating change without noticing what the system has done in response.
