Assessment

Understanding how your mind works is a powerful starting point. A neurodiversity assessment with Systems of Support is a thorough, personalised process. One that looks beyond labels to build a genuine picture of how you think, learn, and process the world.

What the assessment includes:

Underlying ability, processing and working memory Using standardised diagnostic tools, we explore your cognitive profile in depth, looking at verbal and non-verbal ability, processing speed, and working memory to understand the foundations of how you learn.

Literacy skills We assess your attainment across reading accuracy, fluency and comprehension, spelling, and written expression — identifying patterns that may have gone unrecognised or unexplained for years.

Your whole story A diagnostic assessment should never happen in isolation. We take time to explore the broader context of your life, your social, environmental, and familial history — to understand not just your profile, but the experiences that have shaped it.

A personal profile, not just a label The outcome of your assessment is a systems view of you. A detailed profile that draws together everything we have found, explains what any diagnostic label such as dyslexia means in practice, and points clearly towards what support, adjustments, or strategies could make a genuine difference.

Understanding Your Cognitive Profile

Ever noticed that you take a little longer to process information than others seem to? That you work best when you have time to think, or that certain tasks feel heavier than they perhaps should?

You may not think of this as a specific learning difficulty and it may not be. But understanding your cognitive profile can be transformative, whether you're navigating day-to-day demands, stepping into a new role, or simply trying to make sense of why some tasks feel harder than others.

A cognitive profile assessment explores your capacity for learning and information processing in a way that is affirming and practical. We look at how you take in, hold, and work with information and translate that into a clear, usable picture of your strengths and the conditions in which you thrive.

This assessment may be right for you if:

  • You suspect you process information differently but haven't sought a formal assessment

  • You're transitioning into a new role and finding it more of a stretch than expected

  • You want to understand yourself better in order to advocate for what you need

  • Your employer has suggested exploring additional support

Understanding how your mind works is not about finding what's wrong. It's about building the self-knowledge that lets you work with your strengths — and ask confidently for what you need

I attended an evening on dyslexia recently, where I heard Kelly speak. As a result, I asked her if she would assess my daughter. During the assessment process, I was extremely impressed by Kelly’s professionalism and level of expertise. This has been a really positive experience for us, and it is very validating for my daughter that she has finally received a diagnosis.
